To promote
the science, art, philosophy and practice of Naturopathic Medicine
in South Africa.
To protect, support and uplift the professional and statutory
interests of Members registered with the Association.
To act as a principal coordinating and negotiating body on behalf
of the Members for the profession of Naturopathy.
To actively participate in maintaining and improving professional
requirements, and educational standards, for naturopathic practitioners
and students in training.
To participate in the promotion of healthcare programmes for the
benefit of the community by promoting health through the expertise
and influence of Naturopathy.
To foster existing, and establish new, relationships with colleagues
in private practice, state and private hospitals and clinics,
academic centres of learning, government institutions, other health
professionals, and industry.
To encourage dialogue with practitioners and other health professionals
who are not members of SANA.
